CAIE, William Shand March 27, 1952 - December 17, 2008 It is with deep sadness that the family of Bill Caie announce the loss of our wonderful husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle and grand-dad. Bill died peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill now rests with his mother, Dorothy Caie (nee Hall), his father William Shand Caie and his step father Ignacy Preznia. He leaves behind his wife of 26 years Carole (nee Roy), his daughters Heather Hearn (nee Caie) and Julia Plassay (nee Caie), his brothers-in-law Guy Roy and Rejean Roy along with his grandchildren Cierra Hearn and Ryker Foley. Bill's positive attitude and sharp wit will also be missed by the Barcley family and all his friends and co-workers from E.B. Eddy, Low Martin Group and his clients with the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre. A memorial service will be held at 370 Dominion Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario at 6 p.m. January 3, 2009. A graveside service is planned for the spring of 2009. We thank his medical team and all the wonderful nurses and staff from the Cancer Clinic, 5th and 6th floor west.
