WILLIAM "BILL" OLSON PRESCOTT, AZ William "Bill" Olson, 71, of Prescott, AZ, formerly of Calumet City, IL and Munster, IN, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in Prescott. He was born April 25, 1937, the eldest son of Carl and Helen Olson of Calumet City, IL, both of whom precede him in death. Bill is survived by his daughter, Kirsten (David) Ahmari; his son, Erik (Michele) Olson; brother, Robert (Bonnie) Olson of St. John; sister, Linda Newell of St. John; grandchildren: Alex, Kate, Matthew, Nicholas and Jack; as well as several nephews and nieces. Bill was a graduate of Thornton Fractional High School in 1955. He retired from R.R. Donnelley & Sons of Chicago in 1992 after 30 years of employment. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. A memorial luncheon for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Dick's Restaurant, 10808 Wicker Ave., St. John, IN.
