William O. Wild, 77, died Oct. 24, 2011, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, & Heart Institute, Fort Pierce. He was born in Tarrytown, N.Y., and lived in Fort Pierce for 11 years, coming from Fishkill, N.Y. Before retirement, he worked as an insurance agent for Met Life Insurance Co., Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He was a Navy veteran. He was a former member of the Rotary and Elks Club, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Rose Wild of Fort Pierce; son, William M. Wild of Newburgh, N.Y.; daughters, Deborah A. Fath of Delray Beach and Diane R. Johansson of Bradenton; sister, Helene Churchill of Fort Pierce; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Emmy Baker. Services: A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 27 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A guestbook is available at www.aycock-hillcrest.com.
