NORMAN William Norman died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at his home in Conway, SC. Mr. Norman was born in Jersey City, NJ, a son of the late William and Laura Walker Norman. William was a graduate of Toms River High School in New Jersey and held an associates degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He was a Field Office Manager for McDonald Engineering Co. and Holmes and Narver Constructors Inc. After his retirement he worked for the YMCA of Jacksonville, FL. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1960. Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Milton Norman of Las Vegas, NV. Survivors include: Rodger Butler of the home; one nephew, James Milton Norman of Barnegat, NJ; three nieces, Nancy Ruth Johnson of San Diego, CA., Sheree Lee Norman of Quincy, IL., and Laura Jane Skellie of Erie, PA.
