THOMSON William McClellan, 89, of Lyndhurst, NJ died on June 4, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Thomson was born in New York, NY, lived in Jersey City for 22 years and in Lyndhurst for the last 50 years. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, serving from 1942 to 1946 as a Tech Sergeant. He was a District Salesperson for Ford Motor Co., Teterboro, NJ for 20 years, retiring in 1985. After his retirement he then became a partner in Davis Carburetor & Electric in East Rutherford until his death. Mr. Thomson is survived by his beloved wife Ruth Elizabeth Thomson (nee Pennington). His loving children Lenore Thomson-Bentz and her husband Tom, Dennis Thomson and his wife Debbie. Grandfather of Jennifer Schmidt and her husband Tom, Jeanette Pittro and her husband James, Brianna, Shaun and Kelly Thomson. Great grandfather of Thomas and Jessica Schmidt, Jenna Pittero. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 10 AM. Cremation private.
