Mr. William Lewis Pritchard - METTER - Mr. William Lewis Pritchard, 79, died on January 6, 2011 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Metter. Born in Emanuel County he lived most of his life in Savannah before moving to Metter in 2000. He was retired form Savannah Electric & Power and was owner of W.L. Pritchard & Sons Electric. He was a member of Metter Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ashley Pritchard and Vera Wiggins Pritchard, brother J. Jerry Pritchard and a son Lewis Pritchard. He is survived by his wife of fifty nine years and eleven months Peggie Rhoden Pritchard of Metter; son, Paul A Pritchard of Amhurst, VA; daughter, Sue P. Allen of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Katie (Jason) Worley and Allen (Jessica) McDaniel of Jacksonville, Priscilla Pritchard of Indiana, Wesley (Stephanie) Pritchard of Jackson Lake, GA; great grandchildren, Ansley, Avery, Gunnar, Connor and Katlyn. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Savannah. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Friday at Wood Funeral Home in Metter.
