ELLISON William J. Ellison, age 58, of Ansonia, the beloved husband of Jean Martin Ellison passed away peacefully on November 2, 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital with his devoted family by his side. William was born in Bridgeport on December 21, 1950 and was the son of the late Margaret Beattie Ellison. Bill was a graduate of Trumbull High School class of 1968, an avid Yankee Fan, enjoyed cooking meatballs and gravy, loved drag racing, favorite uncle and father, typical jokester and most of all the adopted DAD to all his friends. In addition to his devoted wife Jean, he is also survived by his father, John P. Ellison of Shelton; one son, William Ellison and his wife Alexis of Ansonia; one daughter, Wendi L. Ellison of Ansonia; one sister, Marge Cunningham and her husband Mel of Monroe; his special grandson and best friend, Dylan; two sisters-in-law, Sydney Martin, Deborah and her husband Joseph Snopkowski; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his loving sister, Patricia Loux who passed away on June 25, 2009. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Bill on Friday November 6, 2009 at 10 a.m. Directly at St. Jude's Church 707 Monroe Tnpk. Monroe. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
