William J. Callahan -->William J. Callahan of Quincy died at his home Oct. 14, 2010. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a 43-year employee of Boston Gas. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Kent) Callahan; father of William J. Callahan Jr. of Rockland, LeeAnn Sorensen of Braintree, James Callahan and Robert Callahan of North Weymouth, Edward Callahan of Quincy, Gwendolyn Klutsch of New Hampshire, Elizabeth Harrington and Robert Raimondi of Quincy. Bill is also survived by one brother, John J. Callahan Jr of Braintree; a sister, Mary Smith of Needham; and was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Kelley, and brother, Robert Callahan. William is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy, Monday morning, Oct. 18, at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
