APPLETON William J., age 63, of Bogota, died Saturday, February 1, 2014 in his home. Born in Englewood, he was the son of the late Donald & Ermogene (Henderson) Appleton. William worked as a credit analyst for Ever Bank Commercial Finance Inc., and he was active with the Bogota Athletic Department. William is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara (Ichinco); his daughter, Jenna Appleton; his sons, Jonathan, Brian, Justin, and James Appleton; his sister, Donna Jankouskas; his niece, Darlene and his nephew, Keith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday, February 6th in St. Joseph's Church, 115 E. Fort Lee Rd., Bogota. A viewing will be held from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday evening and from 8:30-9:30 AM Thursday morning from the Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Ave., Bogota. Burial will follow Mass in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack.
