LYONS - William Albert "Bill" Norman, 78, passed away Monday (November 8, 2010) while visiting family in South Carolina.Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 12) at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Satur­day (Nov. 13) at Grace Episcopal Church, Phelps St., Lyons, followed by burial in South Lyons Cemetery.For those wishing, memorials may be made to Geneva General Dialysis, 196 North St., Geneva, 14456.Bill was born March 24, 1932 in the Town of Penn Yan. Bill was a veteran of the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from A&E Transportation as a dispatcher.He is survived by his six children: Nancy (Greg) Nelms of Rock Hill, S.C., Terri Tandle of Waterloo, Robert Norman of Lyons, Mary (Jack) Bonnell of Lyons, William (Renee') Norman of San Diego, Calif. and James (Christina) Norman of Fort Mill, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Doris Norman of Penn Yan and Janet (Warner) Davis of Stanley.Bill was predeceased by his wife, Shirley in 2009; parents, William H. and Elsie M. Norman; and sister, Dorothy DeLooza.
