Walter "Buddy" Roland Wheeler 1958-2012 With profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Walter "Buddy" Roland Wheeler, surrounded by his loving family, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 3rd, 2012 at the age of 54 years. He was the cherished son of M. Maxine Wheeler and of the late Milton Douglas Wheeler. Buddy will be greatly missed and forever loved by his four beautiful daughters; Melissa (Joey Babineau), Darcey, Jenna and Leanne Wheeler and his precious granddaughter Ivea Babineau. His three sisters; Ann Wheeler (Dan Watters), Cathy Martin (Jim), and Laurie Price (Frank) will miss their beloved brother’s unique sense of humor and their many good times together. Buddy worked in the construction industry, primarily with the Department of National Defence at the Base Gagetown and throughout New Brunswick. Most recently he was employed with Paul Gahan and Sons, where his happy-go-lucky whistling will be sorely missed by his crew- co-workers. He enjoyed nature, being outdoors, but best of all he loved spending time with his four girls. During his younger years, Buddy actively participated in baseball and hockey. Left to mourn also are many much loved aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of admiring friends who will miss his helping hands. Resting at Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, on Tuesday October 9th 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, October 10th 2012, from St Marys Anglican Church with the Venerable John Sharpe officiating, assisted by the Venerable David Mercer and Canon Tom Smith.
