HIMES, Walter "Bud," 81, of Lutz, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005. He was born in Erie, Pa., where he married and raised his family. He was the owner of Home Paving Co. and a member of Summit United Methodist Church. In 1970, Walter moved his family and business to the Lutz area where he was a member of First Baptist Church of Land O' Lakes for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 1986. He is survived by one son, Jim Himes of Lutz; three daughters, Judy Derby of Frewsburg, N.Y., Barbara Dunlop of Lutz and Janet Hicks of Griffin, Ga.; one sister, Marion Courtney of Ionia, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Land O' Lakes. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
