Avis de décès de Vivian Williams


WILLIAMS, Vivian Charlotte (nee Card) Passed away with dignity and courage on Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at the Ottawa General Hospital. Born in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Leland Card and the late Helen Moses, and she was the beloved wife of the late George Lemont Williams. She was predeceased by her two brothers Raymond and Dean Card, step-brother Clarence Burrill and step-sister Margaret Gammon. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Cheryl, granddaughter Angela and son-in-law Fred Castel. She was a long time member of United Memorial Church in Halifax, Nova Scotia, was active in the Women's Groups within the church and enjoyed her Wednesday morning Bowling Group. Thank-you to Dr. S. Wijay and the staff at Orleans Garden Family Medical Centre, Dr. P. Wells, Dr. Laferrier and the nurses on 5 East at the General, especially Maggie, Vicky and Julie. A special heartfelt Thank-You to family friend Chrystia for all her support. Thank-you to all the family and friends who called during her illness. Visiting hours will be at Snow's Funeral Home, Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Friday, October 4, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and her Memorial Service will be from Snow's on Saturday, October 5, 2002 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Juvenile Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Association.
