Virginia Marie Haley died at Greenwich Hospital on January 24, 2007. She lived in New Rochelle for over 50 years before moving to Greenwich in 1997. She was born on July 22, 1924 in Chcago, IL to Marie and Harry Feeley. She was educated in Chicago, and later graduated from D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY. She worked as a legal secretary for many years in New Rochelle. She also volunteered for many years at the New Rochelle League for Services at Sound Shore Medical Center and the Red Cross. She was predeceased by husbands; Frederick Haley of New Rochelle, NY and Frank Kohlasch of St. Augustine, FL. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Stanford and her husband Wayne of New Rochelle and granddaughter Megan Anne Stanford of Mt. Kisco, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside, CT on Saturday, January 27 at 9am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Rd., Yorktown Heights, NY. Arrangements handled by Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home in Greenwich.
