Timothy E. Tierney, 51, of East Orange, formerly of Vailsburg, died Monday, March 29, 2010 at home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield, on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment is private. Arrangements are by the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St., Bloomfield. Mr. Tierney was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 68, West Caldwell, until his retirement in 2006. He was the son of the late Daniel and Mary Mc Cann Tierney; brother of Peter J. and his wife, Patricia, of Cranford, Kevin G. of East Orange, John J. and his wife, Carolyn, and Maureen Bertone and her husband, Kevin, of Rutherford; also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
