FARRELL, Thomas Vincent Peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington, ON at sixty-nine years of age. Beloved husband for 44 years to Barbara (Cools-Lartigue). Father of Patrick, Colleen and predeceased by son Daniel, father-in-law to Pamela (Hall) and Poppa to Isabelle and Shayne. Son of the late John Vincent Farrell and Irene (Poirier) of Montreal. Brother of the late Phyllis Sutcliffe and her husband Clifford of Montreal, Bernice Forester and life partner Hubert Bertrand of Ottawa, John Andre and wife Mary Lombardi of Montreal, Robert and his wife Louise Farrell of Goderich, Ontario and Michael and wife Jane Farrell of Mississauga. Brother-in-law to Desmond and Eleanor Cools-Lartigue of Montreal and Alan and Shirley Cools-Lartigue of Burlington. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He retired five years ago after 35 years of service with Rehau Industries of Burlington from Purchasing Management and Sales. He was first employed as a Purchasing Agent with EGM Cape Construction in Montreal, Quebec. He has been an active volunteer for many years at St. Raphael's Parish community in Burlington. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington, ON, on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 3 to 5 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street Burlington, ON, on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
