March 30, 2009 Thomas G. Payne, 64, of Pulaski and formerly of Hastings died Monday, March 30, 2009 at his home in Port Ontario. Born in Lockport, NY, he had grown up in the Pulaski area and lived in Hastings for 40 years. He had an Associates' Degree in Accounting from Jefferson Communty College and had worked as an accountant at Ron Muchie Freightliner in Syracuse before retiring. He also worked with his son at Bill Payne Construction of Hastings. He loved hunting, bowling and traveling. Tom was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Ann Payne; his parents, Kenneth &amp; Sylvia Payne; and a sister, Sally. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, the former Joan Harris; his daughter, Debra (Peter) Sonnacchio of West Monroe; his son, William (Melanie) Payne of Hastrings; five grandchildren; three brothers, Dewey Payne of Alaska, Leonard (Jane) of Pulaski and Timothy (Louanne) of Richland; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and special friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, Rt. 49, Constantia. Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 631 So. Main St., Central Square.
