Thomas Farrell, 77, died April 18, 2010, at the Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 34 years, comingfrom Queens Village, N.Y. Before retirement, he was private home care giver. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and the Irish American Club in Vero Beach. Survivors include his son, Thomas Farrell of Seaford; daughters, Eileen Hrzich of Levittown, N.Y., Doreen DelCol of Lawrenceville, N.J., Patricia Scorcia of Linderhurst, N.Y., and Margaret Sapienza of Oyster Bay, N.Y.; sisters, Kathleen Christian of Vero Beach, Joan Appello of Fairfield, Conn., and Rita Stiger of Rockaway, N.Y.; and 12 grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spina Bifida Association, 4590 MacArthur Blvd. NW, Suite 250, Washington, D.C. 20007. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Artis. Services: A memorial Mass will be celebrated in Long Island, N.Y. at a later date. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
