PAYNE Thomas F. Payne, Sr., 90, passed away February 16, 2008. He was born January 26, 1918 in Tallahassee, Florida to Reverend William and Gussie Payne. Mr. Payne was a member of St. Pius V Catholic Church, Father Jason Trull, Pastor. Mr. Payne retired from Morrison's Cafeteria following many years of services as Head Dietician and Chef. Preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Ida Lee Ursula McHenry Payne, his survivors include, his children, Aida (Andre') Myers, Tomasyna, Hilary "Debbie", and Thomas (Sandy) Payne; sister, Thelma Clemmons; brothers, William and Amos (Bertha) Payne; other relative and friends. A Mass of the Resurrection for Mr. Payne will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday, February 25th at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 2110 Blue Street, Father James R. Boddie, Celebrant. Visitation will be TODAY in the Mortuary Chapel from 3:00 PM until the hour of the Rosary, which will be prayed at 6:00 PM. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
