THOMAS E. GAULT, SR. MERRILLVILLE, IN Thomas E. Gault, Sr., age 78, of Merrillville, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Tom was a member of the Merrrillville 1st Presbyterian Church. He worked for Marbon Chemical for 20 years and retired from U.S. Steel after 25 years of service. Tom loved to fish, hunt, and most of all, spend time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Hensley. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Shirley; children: Cheryl (Thomas) Jones, Thomas Gault, Jr., and Lorri (Jim) Knapp; four grandchildren: Brandon Jones, Danielle (Brad) Garland, Garett Gault, and Adam Goodman; and sister, Phyllis (late Bill) Hepler. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.
