Theresa A. TaylorChester, CT - Theresa A. Taylor, 95, formerly of Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, passed away August 24, 2011 at Aaron Manor, Chester, CT. Born December 31, 1915 in Sharon, CT, to the late Albert and Babbette Gotthardt, Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband, David M. Taylor and brother, Albert Gotthardt. She is survived by her son, James R. Taylor and his companion, Mary Lebeau of Chicopee, MA, daughter Bonnie Yacobucci and husband Joseph of Killingworth, CT, grandsons David Yacobucci of New London, CT, and Jeffrey Yacobucci and his wife Cristina of Istanbul, Turkey. She is also survived by a great grandson Mauricio Yacobucci, and several nieces and nephews.A long-time resident of Poughkeepsie, Theresa worked for the Gertrude Ford Tea Company, a local rest home, and as a keypunch operator in NYC. She was a member of The First Baptist Church.Friends and family best remember Theresa for her kindness, friendliness, and her great love of dancing. She enjoyed all types of dancing, be it salsa, cha cha, line dancing, or ballroom dancing.Visitation will be on Friday August 26, 2011 from 12:00pm to 1pm at Allen Funeral Home 1605 Main Street, Pleasant valley.
