Teresa Garcia, 92, died June 29, at the Center for Hope at Scotch Plains. Born in Alicante, Spain, she came to the U.S. in 1928 and lived in the Ironbound section of Newark before moving to Pompton Plains in 2005. Garcia worked at Western Electric Co. in Kearny, for 20 years retiring in 1976. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Cotroneo and her husband, Anthony, of Denville, and Louise Attkiss and her husband, Michael, of Roslyn, N.Y.; her grandson, Anthony Cotroneo and his wife, Allison; and her great-grandchildren, Andrew and Charlotte. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Garcia. Her funeral was conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services in Denville. Mass was offered at St. Mary's Church in Denville, followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum North Arlington.
