Shawna Elizabeth Davenport Today is Mother's Day, every day is hard yet I feel even sadder today. I love and miss you so much. There is such a void without you here. I looked forward to seeing you do so many things, graduate High School, college and start a career. I dreamed of the day you would get married and the day you'd become a mother yourself. Now I will never hold the child you gave life to, my grandchild. What joy a mother must feel on the day she can say Happy Mother's Day to her own daughter. Today, everyday I watch other mothers and daughters, I will never hear you say I love you Mom, Happy Mother's Day. I will never get to say Happy Mother's Day to you. Today like every day I will wonder what could and should have been. My beautiful daughter I love and miss you so very much. Love, Mommy
