Sarah Pearl Johnson, 59, died Sept. 28, 2011, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce. She was born in Fort Pierce and was a lifetime resident of St. Lucie County. She attended the public schools of St. Lucie County. She was a member of Triumph Church of The Living God, Fort Pierce. Survivors include her son, Carols Wilson of Mississippi; daughters, Shantina Baker, Katheryn Thornton, and Alana Jones, all of Fort Pierce, and Rose Jones of Hobe Sound; sisters, Bertha McGriff of Buffalo, N.Y., and Ruby S. Jones of Fort Pierce; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Katie Mae Johnson-Ray and Wallace Ray; brothers, Wallace Ray, Nathaniel Ray, Jimmie Ray and Issac Chandler; and sister, Katrina Welche. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 7 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. A service will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Triumph Church of The Living God, Fort Pierce.
