Avis de décès de Sarah-Elizabeth-Spratlin Whitehead

Sarah Elizabeth Spratlin Whitehead, 98, of Cumming passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2010. Born in Atlanta, Mrs. Whitehead was predeceased by her husband, Theodore James Whitehead, in 1991. Mrs. Whitehead was a member of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church in Decatur. She graduated from Girls High School in Atlanta, and in May of 1938 graduated from the High Museum of Art. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Robert) Gilman of Landrum, S.C.; son, Jim (Brenda) Whitehead of Cumming; sister, Roberta Spratlin of Cumming; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 8, in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Burgess officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Whitehead's name to the Alzeheimer's Association.
