July 9, 1960 – July 20, 2011Sandy, age 51, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, in the company of her family at a local hospital.She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, watching NASCAR with friends and family. Sandy was just an all-around wonderful person to have with you.She was preceded in death by her father, Bennie R. Newton; and her brother, Glen Newton. Survived by her best friend and lifelong partner, Mike Aushorman; mother, Johnnie Newton; sister, Bill and Regina Mixon, Tammy Hall (David Nelson); brother, Gary Newton; many nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew.A celebration of life, in her loving memory, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Brock's Hometown Funeral Home, 5907 Highway 22, Callaway, FL 32404, 850-874-0818.
