He was born April 7, 1926 in Margaretville, NY to the late Embree Johnson and Martha Ward Johnson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II, and was married on November 15, 1946 to Mary Joyce Savercool Johnson, who survives.Other than his wife, he is survived by his son, Fred Johnson and wife Peggie of Jackson; his daughters, Yvonne Brown and husband Robert of Louisville, KY, and Lori Igo of Apalachin, NY; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Russell Johnson - a kind, wonderful, loving man who will remain in the hearts of family and friends forever.
