ROY DAVID LYNN HIGHLAND, IN Roy David Lynn, 75 of Highland, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2011 He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley; daughter, Deborah Dawn (Gale) Ward; and son Brian Scott (Rebecca) Lynn; grandchildren: Wyatt and Zachary Ward, Morgan, Alex, Autumn and Desiree Lynn. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fagen-Miler Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave., St. John, IN with Rev. Bill Marshall officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Dave was born in Midway, KY. After graduating from High School, he moved to Hammond to find work. He worked as a soil tester and later worked and retired from NIPSCO as a mechanic. Dave was a Deacon at the Community Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and auto racing.
