Robert W. Urbin Town of PalatineRobert W. Urbin, age 77, of Town of Palatine passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Goshen, New York on December 11, 1937, a son of the late Herman and Helen Grabowski Urbin. He was a graduate of Warwick High School and honorably and proudly served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Urbin was a member of the Ephratah Rod and Gun Club, Pine Tree Rifle Club, NYS Trappers Association, National Trappers Association, Fur Takers of America, Fulton Montgomery County Fur Harvesters Association and an NRA member. Robert loved to trap, hunt, fish, shoot skeet and trap, especially with his grandsons. Survivors include his wife, Christine Althouse Urbin, whom he married on July 27, 1963; one daughter, Christl Zaccagnino and her husband, Nicholas of Spotsylvania, Virginia; three grandchildren, Christine Boyd and her husband, Andrew of Charlottesville, Virginia, Nicholas Zaccagnino (U.S. Navy) and Benjamin Zaccagnino (James Madison University), one sister, Mary Ellison of Valrico, Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Edward Urbin. There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2014 at the Fort Plain Reformed Church, 165 Canal Street, Fort Plain. Friends will be invited to call on Friday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Contributions in Robert's memory may be made to the Pine Tree Rifle Club, P.O.
