WILLIAMS, Robert Michael 2009-11-28 Born - Fort William, ON - January 3, 1956 Died - Airdrie, AB - November 14, 2009 Robert Michale Williams formerly of Thunder Bay passed away in Alberta November 14, 2009 at the age of 53 years 10 months, 11 days, the gift of extra time.... In the early 1970‘s Robert and brother Walter left Thunder Bay destined for Saskatchewan to explore new horizons. There he trained as a welder with brother Walter, worked in the mine in Viscount, later he tried his hand at cooking and moved to Moose Jaw to become manager of the Royal Hotel. It was there he fell in love with Kathy Dalrymple and married finally at the age of 37 years. His children Colton and Courtney were born there. In the early 2000 the family decided to explore new horizons and moved to Airdire, Alberta where he drove school bus until his recent passing. Robert was a caring, loving son, brother, husband, father and friend. He always enjoyed and looked forward to visiting his sisters and brothers for special family events in Thunder Bay. He knew that his siblings were always there to support him. Many, many hours were spent on long distant calls to everyone. Every person who knew Robert enjoyed his company. Roberts was known around Thunder Bay as the “Best Pool Player”, a sport that he participated in his life’s travels. The brothers and their friends spent many a late night around the William‘s kitchen table having fun games of cards. He enjoyed outdoors and the “Williams Family Reunion” at Arrow Lake August 2009 had many great memories for the family to treasure. Robert is survived by wife Kathy (Dalrymple), son Colton, daughter Courtney. Immediate family: six sisters: Michele, Loriann, Denise, Velda, Brenda, Sandra; five brothers: Darryl, Shaun, Walter, Dougie, Brent and their families; 18 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews; his wife‘s mother Judy and Les England (Moose Jaw); sister-in-laws Kim, Candy and their families. Predeceased by parents Dolores and Douglas Williams. a brother Lawrence (Dauphin, Man.) in infancy. “In our hearts you will always stay, Loved and remembered always.” Memorial Service Friday, December 4, 2009. 1 o‘clock at St. Luke Anglican Church corner Cameron / McKenzie Streets.
