JAMES, ROBERT J. "BOBBY," 51, passed away Friday, November 17, 2006 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was a Farmer's insurance agent, former owner of Ace Video in Georgetown and was a former agent and region manager with the Monumental Life Insurance Company, where he was a million dollar producer in his first year. He was past president of the New Albany Lions Club and was a past district governor for District 25 E2 Lions Club. He was also a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He was preceded in death by his father, William J. James. Survivors include, his wife, Geni Singleton James; one son, William Joseph James III; one daughter, Sally James; hismother, Betty Jo Griffin James; two brothers, Donald W. James and Dennis L. James; and he loved his five dogs, Kozmo, Monty, Stubby, Monster and Piglet. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts: The Lions Club, The Floyd County Animal Shelter or the Lymphadema Foundation.
