Avis de décès de Robert-Henry-Gordon Orr

ORR, Robert Henry Gordon - August 7, 1921 - February 7, 2010 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Dad, Gordon Orr. Surrounded by his family at York Central Hospital, Gordon peacefully left us to join the love of his life, his wife Mary Elizabeth (McGillivray). He was the cherished father of Donald and Beth Orr, Laurie and John Kimmel, Ken and Joanne Orr, Marilyn and John Caruso, Carolyn and Gary MacDuff and Peter and Mary Orr. Brother to Allan and Mary Orr and the late Anna and Bob Johnston, brother-in-law to Ruth and Al Boake and the late Jean and Carl Boynton. A devoted grandfather, he will be greatly missed by 18 grandchildren, their partners and 2 great- grandchildren as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Proud to be the First President of the Ontario Junior Farmers, a Charter Member of the King City Lions Club and an active member of King City United Church, Dad's love for his community was demonstrated by his dedication to volunteerism. His engaging personality and sincere care for others, blessed him with countless friendships. Friends may call at the Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill (4th traffic light north of Major Mackenzie Drive) on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with services to be held at King City United Church, King City Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The family wishes to thank the many doctors and nurses at York Central Hospital and King City Medical Associates for all their wonderful care. Remembrance donations can be made to the Lions Foundation of Canada or King City United Church.
