HANNA Robert (Bob) N. Hanna Jr, age 65, of Monroe, beloved husband to Jane Rogowski Hanna, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born on June 22, 1946 in Bridgeport, Ct, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Hanna Sr. He enjoyed spending time with his family who loved him dearly and will be truly missed by all who had privilege of knowing him. He also loved his loyal dog, Jackson, who he called his 'Big Boy'. He was a Senior Engineer for Norden Systems for over 40 years. His carefree and laid-back personality will be fondly missed by his numerous friends as well as his co-workers whom he had great respect for. He looked forward to spending summers out in the pool and was an avid spyder solitaire player after a long day of work. He was a devoted father and husband who never missed a single soccer game and took pleasure in playing board and card games with his family. He enjoyed starting his day with Dilbert comics and had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. In addition to his loving wife, Jane, of 31 years, he is survived by his son David Hanna of Monroe, his daughter Danielle Cherry and husband Mark of Virginia, his brother Gregory Hanna and wife Linda of Monroe, several cousins, aunts, one uncle, nieces, nephews, and much extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 18th at 10:00 am at St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, 6948 Main Street Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Moose Hill Road Monroe. Friends may visit Thursday May 17th from 5 PM 8 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home 315 Monroe Turnpike Monroe.
