Robert "Bob" Grady, age 82, of Springfield, passed away in his home, Tuesday, May 2, 2006. He was born February 25, 1924, in Crane, the son of Robert E. and Eunice Charslie (Edwards) Grady. He served his country in the U.S. Army. On September 30, 1950, he and Annalee Keltner were united in marriage. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Bob retired in 1987 after working as an area automobile salesman since 1956. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Annalee a daughter, June Chism and companion Brian Bruce, Springfield a brother, Rex Grady and wife, Pat, Branson a sister, Virginia Melton, Nixa nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marcella Freeman and Opal Gideon two infant brothers, Joe Paul Grady and James William Grady and his parents. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Hosea Bilyeu and Dr. Carl Rees officiating. Burial will follow in Schupbach Cemetery, Chestnutridge. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Thursday until service time. Friends may come by the funeral home between 1 and 6 p.m. Wednesday for viewing.
