EMERSON, Robert C., died February 13, 2005. Our hearts are saddened as we share the loss of our loved one born February 13, 1919, in Aurora, Ill. Mr. Emerson served in the U.S. Army, European Theatre, during World War II. His professional career was in management with Prudential Insurance Co. in Illinois. Robert and his wife retired to Sebring, in 1979. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy Emerson; son, Doug Emerson and wife, Mary; daughters, Deborah Emerson, and Barbara Mossman and husband, Hugh; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spring Lake Presbyterian Church, 887 U.S. 98, Sebring, FL 33876. A memorial service will be held at the church at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005.
