Rita Helen Enright, 89, of Walpole, Mass., and Old Bridge, N.J., passed away peacefully on Aug. 12, 2012, at her Massachusetts place of residence. Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, Aug. 21, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 U.S. Hwy. 9, Old Bridge, N.J. 08867. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Amboy Road, Old Bridge. Committal will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, N.J. She was a bookkeeper at the rectory in St. Nicholas R.C. Church in Jersey City before becoming a bookkeeper with the P.A.T.H. Federal Credit Union for many years. Rita was a homemaker who was a fabulous cook and enjoyed being surrounded by family. She was a communicant of the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer in Old Bridge. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Kevin Enright, in 2005, and a daughter, Sharon Enright. Rita is survived by four daughters, Margaret and her husband, Andrew Richards, of Brookline, Mass., Deborah and her husband, Dennis Curry, of Red Bank, N.J., Marybeth Enright of West Roxbury, Mass., and Patricia Enright-Pirrello of Sharon, Mass. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Ryan, Colleen, Caitlin, Daniel, Alyssa and Tyler.
