GERMAIN, Richard "Henry," passed away peacefully with his family beside him October 31, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Denny; sons, Richard Germain of Georgia and Mark and wife Jill of Tampa; daughter, Susan Benetatos and husband Peter of Georgia; the mother of his children, Mary Valla of Tampa; sisters, Pauline Lingo of Tampa and Ruth Davis and husband Edgar of Wauchula; stepdaughters and their husbands, whom he loved as his own, Nan and husband Kim Norquist of Tampa, Beth and Dan Singletary of Georgia and Jane and Gerry Kenyon of Tampa; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Henry was a Christian man devoted to his family and to his God. He was a member of the Northwest Baptist Church and 32nd degree Mason. He retired from the Hillsborough Sheriff's Department as a bailiff. Henry never met a stranger and will always be rememberd for his ready smile, firm handshake and love for his dog, "Princess." A special thanks to Charles, his caring nurse of Altera Clare Bridge . Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, at 11 a.m. at Northwest Baptist Church, 2410 Silver Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33614.
