Avis de décès de Reta-Ellen Kinney

Mrs. Reta Ellen Kinney, 81, of Hudson River Road, died Thursday, March 10th, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after a short illness. Born in Maine, August 29, 1929, Reta and her husband moved to this area in the late 1950s and to Mechanicville in 1961. After retirement, the Kinney's wintered in Labelle, Florida for 14 years. Reta was an electronics technician with Teledyne-Gurley of Troy for a number of years, and previously had worked at the former Stevens-Thompson Paper Co. in Mechanicville. Reta enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and bowling. She also enjoyed serving as co-pilot for many car trips, traveling throughout the country with her husband. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Harry R. Kinney; her daughter, Fern K. Sherman of Schenectady; along with a niece, nephews and their families. Reta was predeceased by her sister, Vilma Cilley. A funeral service will be held at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home on Monday at noon, with burial to follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery. Visitation from 11 a.m. till noon at the funeral home.
