JOHNSON Rebecca Johnson of Bridgeport, entered heavens gates Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Millageville, Ga., she resided in Bridgeport. She was retired. She was predeceased by her mother, Roxie Thornton Simpson; father, William Owen Simpson, Sr.; three brothers and five sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Leroy Johnson of Bridgeport and special friends Mr. and Mrs. John McLemore of Chester, Pa.; a sweet sister-in-law, Ella Simpson of Bridgeport; a nephew, Henry Lewis (Elaine) of Miraman, Fla.; two special nieces Courtney E. Simpson and Shnel Simpson of Charlotte, N.C.; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. There will be no calling hours and interment will be at the convenience of the family. Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport is in charge of arrangements.
