Avis de décès de Rafael Sanchez

SANCHEZ - Dr. Rafael, 84, Retired Surgeon, who lived in Greenwich, CT died December 20 at Greenwich Hospital. He died from complications from Parkinson's disease and pneumonia, according to his family. He was an attending physician in New Jersey at Englewood Hospital, Meadowlands Hospital, Holy Name Hospital, and St. Francis Hospital. While a chief resident at St. Vincent's Hospital, he married Regina Sachs Sanchez and then settled in Englewood, NJ. Regina passed away August 23, 2003. Dr. Sanchez is survived by six children and 17 grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday Dec. 23 at St. Peter's on Grand Avenue in Jersey City, NJ at 10:30 AM. Calling hours will be held from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the Fred D. Knapp & Son Funeral Home, 267 Greenwich Ave. Greenwich, CT.
