PICARELLI-Alfred Francis "Al", age 63, a senior vice president with Booz Allen Hamilton, died in his Annapolis, MD home on December 23, 2006. Al received a BS, magna cum laude, from Long Island University, and an MBA with distinction from New York University. He was a graduate of the Harvard University Program for Management Development, and a member of the George Mason University Institute for Computational Science and Information Advisory Board. He loved the game of golf and classical music with a passion. Al was a veteran of the United States Navy. Al was the beloved husband of 39 years to Judy Picarelli, loving and devoted father of Denise Picarelli of Reston, VA and Janice Smith of Sterling, VA, proud grandfather of David and Anthony Smith, brother of Barbara Mulholland of Long Island, NY and Muriel McCormick-Keller of Whitting, NJ, also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27th and Thursday, December 28th from 6-9pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 29th at 1pm at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, VA. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at 1800-ACS-2345 or www.cancer.org. Please specify cancer of unknown primary.
