CUMMING, Phyllis Jean Peacefully in Gilmore Lodge, Fort Erie on Monday March 28, 2005. Born October 15, 1925 to Alfred Thomas Miller and Annie Brand (Stoddart). Phyllis will be deeply missed by her sons Gordon (Dawn) and Brian (Jan) and her grandchildren Cassandra, Jason, Derene, Caitlin and Michel. Predeceased by her husband William and brother Ronald. She is survived by her brother Alfred. Phyllis' life was marked by her service to others. Her passion showed in her many activities including golfing, curling and the Crystal Pebble Bonspiel, the Engineers' Wives Association, church work at Rideau Park United Church or her volunteer activities with the Meals on Wheels and canvasing for various charities. Funeral services will be conducted in Rideau Park United Church on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa. Memorial donations would be appreciated to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
