TowleAugust 11, 2013Casco-Peter Towle age 73, of Dorchester Street, Fort Myers Florida, died peacefully Sunday at his 2nd home on Sebago Lake, South Casco Maine. He was the widower of Joyce Towle. Peter was born July 6, 1940 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Eleanor & Clayton Towle and lived in Fort Myers Florida most of his life. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and attended the University of CT. Peter was a successful business entrepreneur in Fort Myers Florida. He was a pioneer in the amusement and gaming business as he notoriously introduced this trade into Southwest Florida through one of his industries known as Town Country Vending. He lived a healthy rewarding life with family at his forefront and legendary generosity; fulfilling the community throughout his journey through life.Peter is survived by his three siblings: MaryAnn Greenwood of Palm Bay, FL, JoAnn Brasche of Oakville, CT and Dana Towle of Waterbury CT; his three children: Peter J. Towle of Fort Myers FL, Douglas P. Towle of Sanibel, FL, Kimberly S. Towle of Fort Myers, FL and his companion, Lynda Woods of Fort Myers FL. Peter also leaves 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Services for Mr. Towle will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Church, Main St Watertown for a Mass. An additional memorial service will be held at Fort Myers Beach, FL at a future date.
