Davis, 76, Seymour, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Lutheran Community Home.Born in Charles City, Iowa, she moved to Madison in 1964, where she was employed at Grote Industries Inc. and retired after 34 years of employment in March 2000. She was director of OEM sales.Survivors include her husband, Randy Davis, Seymour; a daughter, Donna (Buck) Hallgarth, Madison; a stepson, Gregory (Stephanie) Davis, Avon; three sisters, Glendora (Robert) Lightbody, Silver Springs, Fla., Joy Sperenborg, Marion, Iowa, and Carol (Dennis) Lueck, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; sister-in-law, Diana L. McGuire, Anderson; brother-in-law, Douglas K. Davis, Anderson; a nephew, Chauncy Maier; and several nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Canada.Her desire was to be cremated and to have her ashes scattered in the Ohio River in the Madison area.
