Avis de décès de Paula-Jean Jarvis

BILLEDEAU, Paula-Jean 2008-03-27 Mrs. Paula-Jean Billedeau (nee Kendal), age 59 years, a longtime resident of College Street, passed away peacefully with family at her side in the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Paula was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 5, 1948 and came to Port Arthur with her family as a young girl. Locally educated she worked as an R.N.A. at the P.A. General Hospital before moving to the T.B.R.H.S.C. where she retired on April 5, 2007 from her position as Bookings Clerk for Endoscopy and Day Surgery. Paula was a lady of many talents who enjoyed fishing, camping, decorating for Christmas and Halloween and any excuse to use power tools. Her greatest love was for her family and it was during that time with them, especially her grandchildren, that she was happiest. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by Gary, her husband of 41 years, daughter Jeanine (Lance) Lewis, son Chris (Adrienne Anuik) Billedeau, grandchildren Dylan and Cody Billedeau, sisters Elizabeth (Wilf) Graham, Kathy (Wayne) Maki, Donna (Craig) Portelance and Leanne (Bernie Dowson) Hakanen, brother-in-law Kevin Hakanen, brothers Jim Jarvis and Rob (Sherry) Jarvis as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by her mother Bernice Jarvis, step-father James Jarvis and grandson Dorian. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Merv Wilson presiding. Interment will take place at a later date in Mountainview Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be held on Sunday, March 30th from 2-4 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
