Patrick A. Kearney -->Patrick A. of Norwell, on June 9, peacefully entered into eternal rest at home with his beloved family by his side. Patrick was pre-deceased by his wife and true love Mary E. (Flynn) Kearney. He leaves behind a son Stephen A. Kearney, daughters, Mary P. Kearney and Deborah A. Kearney and his grandson Christopher J. Kearney all of Norwell, a son Patrick J. Kearney, his wife Susan and grandchildren, Matthew, Michelle and Mitchell Kearney all of Abington as well as many relatives and friends. Patrick was born, raised and educated in Boston. He was a Korean War Veteran and worked for M.I.T. as a Material Scientist for over fifty years. Patrick was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed watching the Red Sox and playing ball with his three dogs which he was very close to. He liked traveling to Maine and Cape Cod but most of all loved spending time at home with his family. Patrick will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. He was the most dependable person, a good man, a great father and a true friend. He will be especially missed by his three dogs and five cats. Visiting hours at the McNamara - Sparrell Funeral Home 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks) Norwell on Thursday, June 13, from 4 - 8 p.m. . A Funeral Service will be held at the Forsyth Chapel at Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave., Jamaica Plain on Friday, June 14, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited.
