LITTLETON -- Patricia Mary MacKay, 83, died March 17, 2010, following a brief illness. She was born Oct. 14, 1926. Pat had a sharp and precise mind. She worked as a bookkeeper for Houle's Electric for many years and later for Dr. Alexander Warden and Dr. John Spicer. She was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Although she was small in stature and quiet by nature she possessed a keen intelligence, dry sense of humor and an unshakable determination that saw her through many of life's challenges. She was guided by her faith, deeply invested in her family and respectful of others. Her boundless energy and quiet yet buoyant spirit inspired those who knew her well. She had a special affection for her family, her wonderful group of "church friends," God, the Red Sox and chocolate. She was predeceased by a son, Donald MacKay. Family members include her husband, Richard MacKay Littleton; three sons, David of Littleton, Dennis of Lancaster and Darius of Vancouver, B.C.; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. SERVICES: Visiting hours are Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ross Funeral Home, Littleton Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, Littleton.
