Avis de décès de Patricia Ferraro

Patricia Ferraro (née McMahon) of Cedar Grove died on Wednesday Feb. 1 at the Job Haines Home. She was 88. Born and raised in Montclair, she graduated from East Orange High School and she and her family have lived in Cedar Grove for over 50 years. She worked at The Montclair Times and Prudential, in Newark, prior to raising her family. She was an active communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Cedar Grove. As a competitive golfer, she belonged to the Upper Montclair Country Club, often traveling to play golf with her husband and friends. She loved to listen to jazz music, play bridge, read, enjoyed vacations with her family, excelled at bowling and was proud of her Irish heritage. She is predeceased by her husband Dr. Albert B. Ferraro. She is survived by her children Thomas Ferraro, Irene Kennedy and her husband Joe, Dr. Eugene Ferraro and his wife Janet, Gloria Port and her husband Dave, Tina Nucciarone and her husband Patrick, and Jack Ferraro and his wife Sonia. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer, Jonathan, John David, Nicola, Christopher, Olivia, Gisela and Kian along with her nephew, nieces and other extended family members A funeral service was held on Wednesday at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home followed by a mass at St. Catherine of Siena Church. The interment took place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair. The family would like to sincerely thank the entire Job Haines Nursing Staff for their outstanding care and compassion.
