Mrs. Pamela Bumgarner Norman, 46, of Raiford, died Saturday morning at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Norman was born in Lake City. She lived in Texas and Valdosta, Ga. before moving to Raiford in 1988. She graduated from Valdosta High School and Valdosta State College with a B.A. in special education. She earned her Masters in Education from Phoenix University. She was a teacher, working with the public school system in Baker, Bradford and Union counties. Her last position was a supervising teacher with St. Leo University. She was a member of Taylor Church of northern Baker County where she was a nursery director and church secretary. Mrs. Norman is survived by her husband of 21 years, Joseph "Joe" Norman of Raiford; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Andy Adams of Gainesville; three sons, Joey Norman and Tyler Norman, both of Raiford; and Cason Norman of Jacksonville; her parents, Harry and Patricia Bumgarner of Lake City; two sisters, Kim Allen of Lake City and Kris Lansdown of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Kadence and Braden Adams, both of Gainesville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the Fellowship Baptist Church of Raiford with Pastor Mark Woods of Taylor Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sapp Cemetery in Raiford. Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at Archer Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
