PHILIP GEORGE ANDREWS Passed away at this home in Oshawa with his family by his side on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the age of 59. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Marie (nee Hawthorn) for nearly 33 years. Cherished Dad of Victoria Andrews of Oshawa and Will Andrews of Oshawa. Dearly loved son of William and Ruby Andrews of Whitby and loved brother of Donna and her husband Marty Lee of Pickering and Scott and his wife Cathy Andrews of Whitby. Loved Uncle of Sam, Sara, Corinna and Blair. Adored son-in-law of Nan and Robert Hawthorn of Grimsby. Philip will be fondly remembered by his aunts Mildred Paradis of St. John's, Newfoundland and Nancy Wheeler of Montreal. Philip will also be fondly remembered by his many friends and large extended family. Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby, from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A service to celebrate Philip's life will be held in the Barnes Chapel Thursday, April 19th at 1 p.m. In memory of Philip, memorial donations to Simcoe Hall Settlement House (Food Bank) would be appreciated.
